Braemar Subdivision
Bristow, VA

Braemar is an extremely popular subdivision located in the heart of Bristow, Virginia.  This quiet neighborhood is full of active community members and Braemar itself is one of the largest subdivisions in Northern Virginia.  In fact, because of its size they further divided the subdivision into 10 home owner’s associations (HOA’s).  As it continues to grow so do the community features.

Located near route 28 and route 29, there is always an easily accessible commuter route – including I-66.  Nearby, you’ll find a variety of grocery stores such as Harris Teeter, Safeway, and Wegmans.  Also nearby is the Manassas Mall, several restaurants of all kinds, and popular shopping centers in nearby Gainesville.

The community itself has several amenities as well.  First, there’s the community center which is available for guest use for meetings and parties.  Inside are large conferences tables, a microwave, a full size refrigerator, and a dishwasher.  There is also an outdoor patio.  There are also two pools in the community that are available to the residents and their guests.  Throughout the community are basketball courts, tennis courts, and tot lots.  There is a picnic area at Clareybrook Park which is located near one of the swimming pools.

As of this post’s date, property’s are listed between $300,000 and $450,000 and have sold for between $250,000 and $375,000 which more houses actually selling for closer to the $375 mark.  Townhouses are currently listed for between $210,000 and $250,000 and are selling for between $180,000 and $200,000.  While uncommon, there are several foreclosures listed in the neighborhood while short sales are actually much more prevalent.  However, traditional/regular sales are still just a little more common.
