Clifton Subdivisions – Clifton Crest

Clifton Crest is a smaller subdivision in Clifton that consists of 70 single family detached homes and 11 townhouses.  It is located off of Clifton Drive and is very close to Lee Highway (rt. 29).

Clifton Crest would be great for commuters as it is located near several major commuter routes such as rt. 29, rt. 28, I-66, and Fairfax County Parkway (7100).  Shopping and dining are plentiful with several Centreville shopping centers nearby including Centrewood Plaza, Centreville Crest, and Old Centreville crossing.  Also nearby is the shopping and dining in Fair Lakes, East Market, and the Fair Oaks Shopping Mall.

Clifton Crest is professionally managed by Cardinal Management Group.

Chantilly Subdivisions – Sutton Oaks

Sutton Oaks is a smaller subdivision in Chantilly consisting of 102 detached homes.  It is located near Stringfellow Rd and Poplar Tree Rd with an entrance on either road.  HOA dues go towards snow removal, landscaping, community events, maintenance, and trash and recycling.

Amenities at Sutton Oaks include a private park named Morning Dove Park which includes a walking path, basketball courts, a gazebo, a tot lot, and lots of green space.  Annual events such as the Spring Easter egg hunt, Summer festival, and Halloween haunted woods take place at Morning Dove Park.

Sutton Oaks is great for commuting as it is near rt. 28, rt. 50, I-66, 7100 (Fairfax County Parkway), and rt. 29 – with 28 and 50 being the closest of the major routes.  Shopping and dining is also within reach at Sutton Oaks especially since it’s a stone’s throw from Fair Lakes, Fair Oaks Mall, East Market, and Fairfax Corner.

The community is self run by a very dedicated board who communicates well with its members.

Centreville Subdivisions – London Towne

London Towne and London Towne West are two parts of a subdivision in Centreville off of Stone Rd. It consists only of townhouses. HOA dues go towards trash and recycling, landscaping, snow removal, maintenance, and social events.

London Towne is great for commuting. It is near Lee Highway (rt. 29), rt. 28, and I-66. A short 10-15 drive will take you to rt. 50 and rt. 7100 (Fairfax County Parkway). Shopping and restaurants are plentiful in this area. On Stone Rd there is a large shopping center with one of favorite restaurants Matsu Sushi. Also nearby is Trinity Post Plaza, Centrewood Plaza, Centreville Crest, and Old Centreville Crossing. The popular Fair Oaks Mall is only 10 – 15 minutes away as well as the many stores that surround it in the Fair Lakes area. Rt. 50 also has lots of shopping and dining en route.

Woodgate is a subdivision in Centreville off of Stone Rd.  Woodgate consists of  284 townhomes that were built over several years.  The oldest homes were built in 1989 while the newest homes were built in 1998.  The subdivision is further divided into Woodgate Manor and Woodgate Crossing – they have the same amenities available to them.  The only difference is that the homes in Woodgate Manor are older.  HOA dues go towards snow removal, landscaping, maintenance, trash, and recycling.  Also available is a community pool and a multi-purpose court.

Centreville Subdivisions – Faircrest


Faircrest is a subdivision in Centreville, near Fairfax, off of Stringfellow rt.  It is nestled between rt. 29, rt. 28, and I-66 – in otherwords, a commuter’s dream subdivision.

Amenities in Faircrest include a community center, a large swimming pool and a baby pool, two tennis courts, four playgrounds, asphalt trails, and an on-site management office.  The community center can also be rented out by community members for special events.

As mentioned earlier commuting is a snap from Faircrest.  You can take advantage of nearby rt. 29, rt. 28, or I-66 or drive up Lee Highway (rt. 29) to reach Fairfax County Parkway (rt. 7100) or rt. 50 (also Lee Highway).

There’s also plenty of shopping and dining nearby.  Nearby shopping centers include Centrewood Plaza, Centreville Crest, Trinity Post Plaza, and Old Centreville Crossing.  You can also reach Fair Oaks Mall in 10-15 by taking rt. 29 or I-66 and take advantage of the wide variety of shopping and dining in Fair Lakes.

Centreville Subdivisions – Country Club Manor

Country Club Manor is  a huge subdivision in Centreville off of Braddock road, Lee Highway (rt. 29), and Stone Rd.  Country Club Manor is not an organized subdivision so a home here will not be subject to an HOA (home owner’s association).  The roads are publicly maintained so pot holes and snow removal will be handled by the county.  The large size of Country Club Manor would make it difficult to organize an HOA, so if you’re looking for a convenient location in a nice subdivision without a home owner’s association this could be the subdivision for you!

While Country Club Manor does not have any amenities per se there are a lot of nearby facilities of which you can take advantage.  First off, much of the subdivision is surrounded by forests, particularly Cub Run Park.  Also bordering the subdivision is Chantilly National Golf and Country Club – great if you’ve ever wanted to live near a golf course!  Nearby Chalet Woods Park (a small wooded green area near Cub Run Park) provides tennis courts and a basketball court as well as nature trails.  You may also be able to take advantage of the subdivision’s own Deer Park elementary school’s Country Club Site Park, which contains green space and baseball diamonds.

Commuting is a breeze in Country Club Manor.  You can use nearby Braddock Road or Lee Highway (rt. 29) and take those to Sully Road (rt. 28) and I-66.  Fairfax County Parkway (7100) and rt. 50 (a continuation on Lee Highway) are a mere 10-15 minutes away should you work in that direction.

Shopping and restaurants are also close by thanks to all those major commuter routes.  Nearby Stone Road also has one of our favorite restaurants, Matsu Sushi, among others.  Nearby shopping centers include Trinity Post Plaza, Centrewood Plaza, and Centreville Crest.  Take rt. 29 to rt. 50 which has many stores and restaurants, or use I-66 to reach the major shopping areas such as Fair Lakes and the very popular Fair Oaks Mall.  Living in Centreville and so close to Fairfax gives you a variety of options you’ll never feel too far from your favorite stores.

Centreville Subdivisions – Sully Station

Sully Station (more specifically Sully Station II) is a subdivision in Centreville consisting of a 1,316 total homes (combined townhouses and detached homes).  Its residents enjoy a recreational complex which includes a community center, a large pool with an inviting wooden deck, and four tennis courts. Also, located throughout the community are four multi-purpose courts, eleven tot lots, and an extensive system of trails for jogging, bicycling, or walking.

Sully Station’s location is very convenient for commuters being right on rt. 29, minutes for I-66, and a short drive to Centreville Rd (rt. 28)  and rt. 50. Sully Station’s location in Centreville is prime for restaurants and shopping.  Shopping centers near by include Centrewood Plaza, Centreville Crest, Old Centreville Crossing, as well as the very popular Fair Lakes Mall – there is also plenty of shopping on the main roads of rt. 50.  Popular grocery stores in this area include Trader Joes and Wegmans.

Sully Station is managed by an internal board consisting of members of the community and is professionally managed by Community Management Corporation (CMC).
