Oakenshaw is an older subdivision in Manassas right off of Liberia Ave on Signal Hill Rd. This subdivision is also smaller than many of the new subdivisions and only contains detached homes. It also does not have a home owner’s association which means no dues but also no real amenities.
One plus with this community is that at one end is the city park known as Oakenshaw Park. It contains lots of green space, basketball courts, a playground, and a baseball field.

Tartan Hills Village is a sub-association of the large Braemar subdivision. Tartan Hills is also further divided into east and west. Despite being part of Braemar, Tartan Hills does have less influence in the politics of Braemar since it’s much smaller than the other sub-associations.
